NYS Charitable Tax Credit Program

Stock/Security Gift Instructions

SUNY Impact Foundation utilizes the University at Buffalo Foundation as the facilitator for any stock or security gifts made to the NYS Charitable Tax Credit Program. 

University at Buffalo Foundation will transfer all proceeds to SUNY Impact Foundation for further distribution to the appropriate SUNY campus selected by the donor.

Transfers should be made from the donor’s account to the University at Buffalo Foundation utilizing the following information:

DTC #:                           8862 (Merrill Lynch)

Account #:                     81C-04001

Account owner:             University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc.

Please include donor’s name on the stock/security transfer

Once the transfer is initiated, please notify SUNY Impact Foundation at taxcredit2024@suny.edu and provide the following information:

• Donor name
• Number of shares
• Stock symbol
